What is N Acetyl Cysteine

N Acetyl Cysteine is a metabolite of Cysteine, a sulfur containing amino acid which replenishes the source of glutathione in your lungs. Glutathione is a natural antioxidant that is normally found in healthy lungs. If your glutathione level becomes low, you will become more vulnerable to infection, asthma attacks and other illnesses. N Acetyl Cysteine is produced in the body and can often be compared to the antioxidant resveratrol due to the numerous health benefits that it can give.

N Acetyl Cysteine Benefits

As mentioned earlier, N Acetyl Cysteine is good for the body. In fact it is effective as resveratrol when it comes to boosting your immune system so that you can have a stronger body that will be free from disease.

N Acetyl Cysteine is used for a lot of reasons. Studies have shown that it is very beneficial when it comes to improving lung conditions, improve the function of numerous organs and has neuro protective properties. It is also able to help decrease the symptoms of the common cold and can help decrease the symptoms that lead to the influenza virus. It is also able to help protect the brain and the liver from damages done by pollutants such as cigarette smoke and alcohol.

It also helps especially when you have lung congestion and if you have cough. The N Acetyl Cysteine will help liquefy the mucus so that you can cough it out more easily. In fact it is best known for improving long term and short term lung conditions which include asthma, pneumonia and bronchitis.

N Acetyl Cysteine Cautions

When you take N Acetyl Cysteine it is always best that you also take two to three times as much Vitamin C as you usually take due to the prolonged presence of the oxidized form of Cysteine. The Vitamin C will be able to help keep the glutathione in its reduced form so that it can continue with its function as an antioxidant.

If you are taking N Acetyl Cysteine for cough, it is best that you take it in the morning and in the afternoon and not at the evening. This is because you have to be prepared to get rid of all the mucus that has been infecting your lungs.

Like taking resveratrol supplements, it is best that you approach your doctor when it comes to taking this antioxidant. The typical dose recommendations come in the range of 250 to 1500 mg daily in order to get the health benefits effectively. For the greatest way to get absorption, it is best that you take it without food so that it does not have to compete with the proteins when it comes to absorption.

My Experience with Resveratrol

Do you want to live a life that poses no risk to your health? Then I suggest that you take resveratrol into your system as a stepping stone in order to lead a healthier life. My health is a very important thing to me due to the fact that I know if I would get sick or catch some terrible virus I would not be able to afford the extravagant bills I would have to pay for medication or hospital care. I was very particular doing research on how effective this supplement is in regards to the supplements that it offers and whether there were any resveratrol side effects that I had to deal with. The results were interesting and satisfying enough to prompt me to give this supplement a try.

Resveratrol Benefits

I will be sharing to you the benefits I got from taking resveratrol supplements based on my experience. After weeks of taking the said supplement, I noticed that my energy levels went up so high that I felt a lot of vigor and drive in my system. I never felt this amount of energy since I was in my teens and I am in my thirties now. I started to enjoy exercising more and was able to join a hiking club in the weekends. It was great to be able to do all these things now.

One more thing I noticed is the fact that I am able to get a better rest. I am not a morning person but ever since I started taking resveratrol I am able to wake up in the morning with much energy. This prompted me to start the habit of taking a morning jog before I bring my kids to school and this routine has helped me become skinnier which was a good thing since there were some extra pounds that I would like to shed. The supplements just made it easier for me to do so.

I was also able to notice that the visible wrinkles in my face were starting to diminish. Although they did not vanish entirely they were less recognizable. This made me believe when they said that resveratrol is the best anti aging solution available since it actually made me look younger than what I really am.

Resveratrol Side Effects

When it comes to taking supplements, there is no doubt that the first thing people would want to know is whether there are resveratrol side effects that you need to worry about. I heard reports about dizziness, insomnia and rises in blood pressure but I heard that these findings are not yet backed by research.

Based on my experience as well, I also was not able to get these resveratrol side effects when I took the supplements. The only effects that I got where the good ones and I am very thankful that I decided to include this in my system.

Now I am able to live a longer, healthier life with a fit physique all thanks to resveratrol.
