Stop Cellulite With These Remedies

Cellulite is the scourge of women the world over. The condition causes dimpled and uneven skin on areas such as the buttocks and thighs. Women can spend thousands of dollars on trying to get rid of cellulite but with the variety of remedies available it can sometimes be confusing as to which one you should choose.

The condition is rated on a scale from 0 to 3. At stage 0, the cellulite isn’t visible but at stage 1 it can be seen when the skin is pinched. Stage 2 has the cellulite visible when the woman is standing but not when she is lying down. Finally, at stage 3 the condition can be seen regardless of whether the woman is standing or lying.

If you want to treat cellulite at home then the best option is probably cellulite cream. In fact, this is a very popular treatment with hundreds of lotions available. While they all vary in price, many work the same way with the same types of ingredients. You should compare the ingredients each lotion in order to determine which one is better value for money. You will need to apply the majority of creams twice daily.

Mesotherapy is heavily marketed as a natural cellulite removal method. When undergoing this treatment, injections of herbs, vitamins, minerals and off label drugs are placed into the skin. As with invasive procedures, there are risks involved. It is best to find a well recognized and competent practitioner if you want to undergo this type of therapy.

Lymphatic drainage massage for cellulite removal is a process where toxins are pushed out from the fat cells. Machine-based treatments involve devices which vigorously massage the cellulite and sometimes also use laser or radio wave therapy. Popular machines include Tri-Active, Vellasmooth and Endermologie. Due to the high costs of these devices, they are not something you would buy for the home but sessions are available at day spas for about $100 per session.

When investigating each remedy, you should examine the costs and whether your medical insurance will pay for the treatment. You should also compare the advantages and disadvantages of each therapy. That way you will more likely stick to the treatment over the longer term and give it enough of a chance to gain the desired results.
