Tried and Proven Methods to Stop Perspiration
If you perspire a lot, do not feel bad about it! There are a lot of people who suffer from excessive perspiration, in fact about one percent of people worldwide have at one time or another had problems with excessive sweating! There are quite a few natural ways that you can stop sweating, without resorting to old style methods of staying indoors and remaining inactive all day, or only wearing black clothes.
There are actually a lot of different purported cures to halting excessive perspiration. Unfortunately, a lot of these methods are just old wives’ tales and they do not work. But there is also some truth to some of these old, time-tested methods too. You just need to learn what is true and what is false. For example, applying a mix of cornstarch and baking soda to your underarm will actually help you not to sweat so much. Both baking soda and cornstarch absorb moisture, and baking soda is great for eliminating unpleasant odor.
If you want to take it a step further, you could mix some kind of natural oil into the mixture, so that it also deodorizes. This is one very simple way to help stop excessive sweating, and to minimize the unpleasant side effects that result from it. There are many other ways to do this too. Simple things you can do are things such as consulting with your medical practitioner for any prescription drugs that can help. Remember to wear cotton undershirts as cotton absorbs excess moisture. Use a good antiperspirant.
If your problem is sweaty feet, not sweaty underarms, there are still simple, cheap remedies. Just try taking an extra pair of socks and shoes out with you and change them mid-afternoon. That way your feet will stay dry, and there will not be any unpleasant odor. Remember too, that you need to shower often and wash away the bacteria that actually produce that nasty sweat odor. Drink lots of water. Use fans when you are working, or when you are resting! They will keep your body temperature down and reduce sweating.
